GETD#3 Summit & Hackathon Berlin

Berlin, 10 & 11 October 2015

We are happy to announce the third GETDecentralized Summit and Hackathon, that will happen again in Berlin on 10 & 11 October 2015!

Together, we will be discussing the hottest topics of the decentralized web! We will listen to inspiring talks, exchange knowledge and not least hack the solutions we are passionate about.

Topics of GETD#3 will include:
– internet of energy (IoE)
– data privacy and ownership
– digital identity
– blockchain
– internet of things (IoT)
– decentralized technologies
– use cases

GETD Hackathon & Summit has been building a community and ecosystem of decentralized projects – with a strong focus on the collaborative & sharing economy. Every GETD connects local projects with the latest knowledge and technology from around the world. Think of a decentralisation topic and it’s likely that substantial discussion and work has been done at GETD.

“I’m working on another layer of the integration of CoAP and Node-RED and can use the Grundfos (Gatesense) work from your hackathon. Great outcome!” – Michael Koster (ARM)

At GETD it is the time and place that you get to discuss, share your knowledge, work and learn about anything & everything related to the decentralized web and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies today. Why we organise the event again: from previous events we know that to build community and an ecosystem is a process. The events give us the opportunity to connect to like minded people, getting to know the various projects, and to learn about the latest technology. To implement the next iteration of our work six month proved to be the perfect time frame for you to gather for a next turn.

JOIN US to lift the fog on decentralization!

“I had a great time at GETD#1 and GETD#2. The projects were great, we had a lot of room to connect and learn from each other. I’ll be there again next time!” – Justas Azna (Developer)

“I enjoyed it a great deal. I really loved the “Decentralized” theme used not only in software projects but also in beer, food and funding. Finally, it is always nice to meet like-minded people and I think I learned a great deal from you guys.” – Eelco Wiersma (Developer)
